I met Kylie and Paul during a beautiful engagement and maternity session that we had before the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, like many couples, their wedding plans had to be rescheduled due to the pandemic. However, they persevered and 2 years later they were finally celebrating with an intimate wedding on the stunning Fitzroy Island. As their Cairns wedding photographer, I was honoured to capture every special moment of their big day, from the crystal-clear waters to the fiery sunset sky.
Fitzroy Island, located just off the coast of Cairns, is a stunning tropical paradise with crystal-clear waters and breathtaking sunsets. Kylie and Paul's ceremony took place on the beach, with the sun setting in the background and a small group of family and friends in attendance.
Their little boy was also the star of the day and the most excited guest ever, adding a wonderful heartfelt atmosphere. As the ceremony concluded, we took advantage of the gorgeous surroundings and captured some beautiful sunset shots over the water before heading back for the party.
Kylie and Paul's intimate Fitzroy Island Wedding was a beautiful celebration of their love and commitment to one another. They were able to create a special day that they will always cherish. It was an honour to be their Cairns wedding photographer and capture these precious memories for them.
