TONY + HEDIEH
A Romantic Iranian/Australian Wedding in Port Douglas
Tony and Hedieh's wedding was one for the books. The stunning ceremony took place at Little Cove Port Douglas Wedding Venue, where the couple exchanged vows with the breathtaking view of the ocean and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. The palm trees framing the couple made the scenery even more picturesque.
Hedieh, who is originally from Iran, incorporated some traditional Iranian wedding elements into the ceremony, making it unique and special. It was fascinating to see how they fused different cultures to make their wedding day truly memorable.
After the ceremony, we took a stroll around Port Douglas for the afternoon session, capturing beautiful moments and creating unforgettable memories for the couple. The location was perfect for capturing some stunning photographs, with its lush greenery and picturesque backdrops.
The reception, held at the Sugar Wharf, was an all-out party, with everyone dancing the night away. They started the reception with an open dance floor, which set the tone for the rest of the night. The Iranian knife dance, which is a traditional element of Iranian weddings, was performed during the cake-cutting ceremony, making it even more special.
Tony and Hedieh's wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, culture, and traditions. I feel grateful to have been a part of their special day and to have captured such amazing moments that they will cherish forever.
