As an Atherton wedding photographer, one of my absolute favourite weddings of 2021 was a rustic wedding in Mareeba on The Tablelands, filled with boho vibes, endless canola fields, and lots of laughter between the bride, groom, and their loved ones.
Mareeba is a very special part of Queensland with endless roads that lead to beautiful views for days, making it the perfect location for a rustic wedding. The breathtaking yellow canola fields provided a stunning backdrop for the couple's special day, creating a magical and romantic atmosphere that was truly unforgettable.
The vast open fields of the rustic countryside provided a stunning backdrop for the heartfelt wedding ceremony, where James and Rose exchanged their vows surrounded by their loved ones. After the ceremony, we headed out to the canola fields for some beautiful photos with the bridal party. The golden fields stretched out for miles, providing the perfect setting for capturing the joy and love of the newlyweds.
The reception was a joyous celebration of the couple's love, with lots of laughter, dancing, and delicious food. The rustic decor and boho vibes added a charming and unique touch to the celebration, making it a wedding that will be remembered for years to come.
